Crosmando: I dont see why Diablo 2 even needs a remaster, the artwork is very good even today, all it needs is new patch adding official widescreen/4k support. We have Diablo 1 in Diablo 3 playable once a year and I dont think most fans relate to it as much as they do Diablo 2. Starcraft and Warcraft are already done, so its obviously going to be Diablo. Diablo 4 was eventually the one in the spotlight no regrets. From the 3 big franchises, only Diablo dont have a remastered version yet. With an announce trailer today, Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo II: Resurrected is on the way, “the definitive remastering of Diablo II and its Lord of Destruction® expansion”! A Diablo 2 remaster may follow under the companys Classics label. Prior to BlizzCon 2019, a potential announcement of Diablo 2 Remastered began making rounds as well.
